·Past simple is with the second form of the verb, is when the action was finish.
Afirmatives sentences:
EX: I song in a karaoke
Negatve sentences: You use did + not.
EX: I didn't sing in a karaoke
Interrogative sentences: You use did.
EX: did I sing in a karaoke?
*Past continuous*: We use the past of "to be" + "ing".
Afirmative sentences: Past of "to be"+"ing".
I was singing in a karaoke.
Negative sentences: Past of "to be"+"not"+"ing".
I wasn't singing in a karaoke.
Interrogative sentences: Past of "to be"+"ing".
Was I singing in a karaoke?

Use: In positive sentences it use with the verb form in present.

Use: we use do or does and not
He doesn't work in a office
EX: Interrogative sentences
Use: we use do or does
Does he work in a office?
Desdription present continuous: We use present continuous for things that are happening now.
EX: Afirmatives sentences
Use: In positive sentences it use with the verb "to be" + "ing".
He is working in a office.
